Using third‑party external musical instruments with GarageBand requires devices made for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. What sound file can be imported in garageband on ipad 2.

I'm using titanium for the mobile app. So it will be mobile apps and websites. The mobile website domain will (now api is a subdomain) be a different domain. When I try to run the demo mode with the internet on my computer I receive a message:
'An error occurred at the server (Status 200).'
Please advise how this can be corrected.

I got the same error when I tried the second option in the Activation Window.
The first option worked, though. Only thing is that you have to get a product key for the Demo Version first, so that you can select it from the dropdown box.

Well, that's a bit of rain on the party.
I've seen a lot of postings with users not able to upgrade to V3 (cleanly).
I'd have thought that PreSonus would have thoroughly tested the top 3 upgrade modes.
1. Download from PreSonus.
2. Update from within S1.
3. Update from S1 Start Page.
I won't be able to purchase V3 for another week or so and I'll be watching for a nice solution to the issues.

Scotty, it's an upgrade rather than an update, so the options 2 and 3 you listed aren't available anyway.
You'll have to download V3 directly and activate afterwards.

I haven't changed my password in years so I'm good on that.

I made sure hidden files were shown.
Then I went to the Studio One 3 folder.
There is Extentions folder, x64 folder, Studio One log, Studio one settings, and Windowstate. settings. I saw nothing about 'user.license' file .
I removed the program from my computer. Went to the Presonus folder and delete everything there and reinstalled the program from a fresh install.
Does not work.
Screw this, I will stick with Cubase 7.5

Yep, some DAW users will not have the patience of even a few days to try v3 and should just stick with what they familiar with.

I still want to try it but with having this many issues makes it too frustrating. When I went to demo Samplitude and Sonar, no issues with opening up and working. I don't mind a hiccup or two, but after finding the fix and it does not work how much more time should i spend trying to get the program to work?

I'd ask Tech Support for a new Demo Key.

Been trying for days to install s3 demo, I looked at all the cures and remedies nothing works so I'v deleted the install file and that's that.
EDIT: I'm gonna give it one more shot, I would just buy the artist v3 but I have to be sure its gonna work with the windows sp1 and platform update.
EDIT: I've been using the 'try the demo' selection but now I selected the 'I bought the software' tab then clicked the dropdown, I used the key supplied with the download then I was prompted to enter the key for the s2 I have and that sorted it. So now I'm trying it and it looks like a well organised killer DAW.

i had best luck dragging the liscense file into the box when u open program

I spent what mism but everything is related to the subscription, I subscribed and install the demo version and the profile presonus you get a serial triggering this version and ready, I worked

I just bought Studio One Professional (from Audiodeluxe). I have had Prime running for a few days. I downloaded the installer for Professional and ran it (did't download all the additional content) When installing it was just copying the program to my applications folder (I'm on OS X, mac) and it asked if I wanted to replace the old program, and I did. Now when I open it, it still says Studio One Prime. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Doug.
Yes, the software is really all the same underneath so if you're using Prime, go into the Studio One Activation menu and activate it as Pro directly from there. (Assuming you already registered it in your user account) It will restart as Pro.
There's never any need to download the app again if you already have the latest numerical version, it's only the license that needs changing and when you restart it will 'unlock' the Pro features.

Another quick question. Does it matter much where you install all the additional Studio One content - instruments/loops etc? I keep my sample libraries on external ssds, but Logic Pro likes to have it's content on the internal (or so I hear). I'm wondering if that's similar with Studio One, or if it's okay to keep it wherever you like?

You can install Studio One where ever you like, I keep Studio One on my external drives with everything in one folder (including within sub folders). Studio One will assign other locations for it's preference's / settings on your system as you'll discover. Set up all your folder locations for the soundsets / vst plugin's if you are moving them, fairly straight forward.have fun.
